A once-known hardware section in the early 1980s, New City Commercial Center developed and turned a portion of its flagship store in Ramon Magsaysay Avenue into Hardwaremaxx in 2003.

Hardwaremaxx is a convenient hardware needs store outlet for handy home accessories and fixtures, with product lines including car accessories, paint materials, industrial power tools, electronic items, gadgets, and plumbing essentials.

As of 2019, Hardwaramaxx currently operates in 15 branches from all around Luzon and Mindanao, namely Main Magsaysay, which is the first of all branches, Calinan, Catalunan Grande, Centerpoint, Sentro Maa, Ilustre, Bajada, VP, Panacan, Cabantian, Mandug, Mati, Nabunturan, Tagum and Palawan.

The BU also holds 3 in-house brands. These include Maxx Home, Maxx Dog Food and Maxx Builders.

Hardwaremaxx also has another business line- Maxx’s Pet Bowtique and Pawlor. This particular pet grooming store was built to cater to pet lovers’ needs. Services include grooming and selling of pet products, ranging from a variety of pet food to pet care merchandise.

In the coming years, Hardwaremaxx aims for more expansions in different areas across the country to provide both regular customers and new shoppers’ hardware needs.
