Project #HelpLocalShelter launched

A donation drive for pets dubbed as #HelpLocalShelter was launched recently by Hardwaremaxx and Maxx’s Pet Bowtique & Pawlor to raise awareness on the rehabilitation and care for animals in distress and animal protection in general.

All pet lovers are welcome to share and give their pets old toys, accessories, foods, and other items. The campaign also accepts monetary donations for the improvement of the animal rehabilitation center. Donor can leave their donations at any Hardwaremaxx and Maxxs Pet Bowtique & Pawlor stores and coin banks are available in all branches.

The donations in cash and in kind collected will go to the ARFF-Davao Pawg-Ibig Shelter in Binugo, Toril. ARFF is privately funded shelter by the Batacan family which houses around 200 dogs and cats.

ARFF-Davao volunteers Marites Batacan, Angel Flores and NCCC representatives Shugar Dumadag, Christopher Cua, and Jayson Villahermosa facilitated the launching event and the partial donations of pet goods.
