Is the official cooking contest of NCCC Supermarket annual promotion or event named SARAPangKabuhayan 2023.

1. Open to all college students who are presently enrolled in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Culinary courses in any of the colleges/universities located in Davao City.
2. Each school shall have a maximum of two (2) participants/students or one (1) tandem per school only.
3. A total of six (6) schools from different colleges/universities.

1. The competition is a physical cooking contest to be sponsored by Mondelez Philippines, Inc. makers of Eden Cheese, Eden Mayo, Cheez Whiz, and Calumet. They are also the makers of Snacking Leading Brands: Oreo, Tiger Biscuits, and Chips Ahoy; Tang Powdered Juice Drink and Halls Candies.
2. There will be Elimination Round before the Grand Cook-Off, details are as follows:
a) For the elimination round, the schools will be grouped into two (2) and each group will be compose of three (3) schools.
b) NCCC and Mondelez Team will draw lots to identify which schools are for Group A and Group B.
c) Elimination Round will be schedule as follows:
i. Group A – 11:00 AM
ii. Group B – 01:00 PM
iii. Date – October 14, 2023
iv. Venue – Activity Area, NCCC Supermarket Mall VP
3. The winning tandem from Group A & B will proceed to the Grand Cook-Off on the next day, October 15, 2023 at 03:00PM, Activity Area, NCCC Supermarket Mall VP.
4. All the tandem/school will receive P2,000 to buy their own dish.
5. All cooking ingredients must be purchased at NCCC Supermarket Mall VP only.
6. Preparation, cooking of dishes, and garnishes must be done on the spot. Bringing of any cooked item is prohibited in the competition.
7. The tandem should wear culinary attire.
8. Competitors can bring small equipment and kitchen utensils needed for cooking and serving. Provided that they send the list materials to organizers on or before October 13, 2023.

Criteria for Judging
Taste (50%)
Originality, creativity, and difficulty (30%) – level of ownness of the dish.
Presentation and visual appeal (20%) – contrast of plating and design

Champion – P15,000 cash
Runner-Up – P8,000 cash
Consolation Prize – P2,000 cash
